There is a good reason why you are here. I hope you’ve already noticed that the word “Bunker” in our name doesn’t mean that sand trap in golf that only exists to cause trouble.
Not at all! Game Bunker is something far more meaningful for you, and I’ll explain why.
There has always been a war.
On one side, the oppressive dictatorship of reality with all its mundane conventions and boring limits.
On the other side, allied together, are fantasy, art, and fun, breaking the restrictions of the real world with the limitless possibilities of creativity.
You don’t need to pick a side just yet, but like everyone else, you understand that you need a shelter from the hardships and injustices of real life.
And if art is the shelter against the oppression of reality, our bunker is a shelter for art, fantasy, and fun encoded: video games.
Yes, games need a shelter just as much as we need to take shelter in them.
Our tenth art and our war are against the limits of banality. After all, in the real world, Italian plumbers don’t save princesses riding dinosaurs, and karate fighters don’t shoot fireballs from their hands.
Our mission at Game Bunker is simple: to provide a space to read, discuss, and live the wonderful world of games, sheltered from the reality outside.
